Summary
The Operations Management Trainee will learn key functions of the organization through a specific rotation, which is designed to expose the trainee to various aspects of our business. The rotation program includes production team leadership, production control coordination, logistics, quality assurance, supplier development, along with possible opportunities in finance and project management. Depending on associate’s skills and interests, and company needs, the associate will gain exposure to a wide range of company functions. The goal is to come out of the program as a well-rounded business person with a thorough understanding of our business process. Each associate will be prepared to meet and work closely with our clients.

Responsibilities

– Demonstrate competency in each department by understanding the general function of that specific department, the roles that make up that department and the coordination/flow of information within that department.
– Maintain a specific role and be responsible for the day to day duties of that role(s) for a required time period.

Summary

This position is under direct management of the Director of Engineering. This position is responsible for determining the most effective ways to use the basic factors of production—people, machines, materials, information, and energy to make products. Primary concerns are with increasing productivity through the management of people, methods of business organization, and technology.

Responsibilities of the Position:

  • Manage and organize upcoming project information to ensure all Production Line startups are effective and efficient. This process includes but is not limited to; equipment research, equipment recommendations, equipment procurement, production line layouts, production line drawings in AutoCAD, materials research and suggested resources to adequately execute projects.
  • Maintain and create drawings (AutoCAD) of Facilities & Production Line layouts that include the necessary equipment, resources, labor and materials.
  • Continuous Improvement – continually monitor and analyze existing processes to ensure that all opportunities for improvement have been explored and analyzed for return on investment. Identify opportunities to error proof procedures and processes.
  • Diagnostics & Observations – Evaluate existing operations to identify new opportunities.
  • Innovation – Develop new processes and tools to improve operations related processes.
  • Technology – Explore opportunities to apply new technologies to process improvements.
  • Industry Research – Investigate various sources of information to identify best practices and benchmarks for operational processes.

Summary

Summary

Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and daily operation of the creative werks (cw) Information Technology (IT) network infrastructure including, but not limited to: servers, network switches, network routers, network firewall, local area network cabling, telecommunications systems and circuits, PC’s (desktops and laptops), and peripherals.  Implement and support cost-effective technology solutions which support the organization’s objectives.  Responsible for compliance to applicable guidelines, policies and procedures as outlined in the corporate policy manual.

Responsibilities of the Position

Administer, maintain, and manage the physical and software components that comprise the core network infrastructure of the enterprise with the goal of maximizing uptime and efficiency while minimizing administrative effort including, but not limited to:

  • Windows network domain(s) – Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DHCP scopes, DNS, Group Policy Objects, Certificates.
  • Physical and Virtual Servers – VM Hosts, SANs, etc. – monitor health, stability, manage upgrades of both the hardware, operating systems, and relevant enterprise software.
  • Networking components / Security Appliances – switches, firewalls, routers, content filters, remote access.
  • Business Critical Applications and Services – e-mail, telephone system, system alerts, etc.
  • Backup Systems: Monitor and test backups at multiple levels (e.g. file system, server, disaster recovery) at established intervals to ensure integrity.
  • Anti-Virus / Security systems – ensure that these devices and applications are properly licensed, updated, and deployed across the enterprise to prevent intrusions

Projects: Support the IT team to research, develop, and implement new technology solutions and support the business as directed. Take the lead and/or specialize in assigned applications or roles within the department. Oversee implementation of new technology solutions and provide leadership and training to the team to effectively manage and support.
Support: Act as an escalated tier of support as needed while providing the training and resources as appropriate for the Support Manager and Support Specialists to manage future requests
Licensing: Manage enterprise licensing, renewals, and performance to budget.  Perform regular audits at specified intervals to ensure compliance.
Equipment Inventory: Maintain an inventory of assigned IT equipment, including serial numbers, date purchased, warranties, staff user, etc. Ensure that the company’s technology assets are deployed and used in an effective and efficient manner.
Training: Develops and conducts various training and instruction for new and existing associates on company technology with the goal of maximizing user efficiency and effectiveness while reducing administrative effort.
Discretion:  Maintains appropriate confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored or accessed by the end-users on the network.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or six years of related work experience.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows servers (AD), telecommunications, network, and PC operating systems.
Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, etc.) protocols and standards.
Work independently, with minimal supervision, and deliver results on schedule.

Summary
